My e285 doesn’t turn on, what do I do?

Before you attempt to turn on your Semi-Integrated e285, charge it for at least 30 minutes. After you charge your Semi-Integrated e285, complete the following steps:

1. 1. To turn on your Semi-Integrated e285, press and hold the Enter button for four seconds.
   2. If your Semi-Integrated e285 doesn’t turn on, remove the rear cover by sliding it down.
   3. Make sure the battery is in the correct position and isn’t loose. The Verifone logo on the battery should be upside down.
   4. Replace the rear battery cover and slide it up until it clicks. Check that the cover is secure before you charge and turn on your Semi-Integrated e285.
   5. To turn on your Semi-Integrated e285, press and hold the Enter button for four seconds.
