How do I change the supervisor password on my V400m?

To change the supervisor password on your V400m, complete the following steps:

1. From the home screen, use the keypad to press 1, 5, and 9 at the same time.
2. Use the keypad to press 1, 5, and 9 at the same time, and then tap supervisor.
3. Use the keypad to enter the supervisor password. The default supervisor password is 1166832.
4. Tap OK.
5. Tap Security > Password Mgr. > Change Password > User Passwords.
6. Tap supervisor, and do the following:
   • Use the keypad to enter the current password. The default supervisor password is 1166832.
   • Tap the New password field and then use the keypad to type the new password.
     Note: The supervisor password must be between five and eight digits in length. You cannot use special characters, the default password, or the current password.
   • Tap the Confirm password field and then use the keypad to enter the new password.
   • Tap Enter. Your Genius V400m confirms you have successfully changed the supervisor password.
   • Tap OK.
7. Use the keypad to press the Cancel button.
8. To return to the home screen of your Genius V400m, tap Run Applications.
