How do I configure the tip suggestion option on my iCT220/250?

You can enable or disable suggested tips, and you can also define the percentage value of up to three suggested tips.

To configure the tip suggestion option on your iCT220/250, complete the following steps:

1. To return to the home screen, press Clear (red button).
2. Press .;#* (punctuation key).
3. Type the admin password, then press Enter (green button). The default password is 1234567F.
4. Press 3 (Setup Menu), then press 5 (Trans Options).
5. Press 5 (Tip Options), then press 6 (Tip Guide).
6. Edit the suggested tip options:

Option 1. To turn off the suggested tip, complete the following steps:

• • Press 1 (Tip Guide).
  • Select one of the following suggested tip options:
1. To turn off the suggested tip, press 1 (Off).
2. To display the suggested tip, press 2 (Display).
3. To print the suggested tip, press 3 (Print).
4. To display and print the suggested tip, press 4 (Both).

Option 2. To set the the first suggested tip percentage, complete the following steps:

• • • Press 2 (TipGuide1).
    • Using the keypad, type the suggested tip percentage, then press Enter (green button).

Option 3. To set the the second suggested tip percentage, complete the following steps:

• • • Press 3 (TipGuide2).
    • Using the keypad, type the suggested tip percentage, then press Enter (green button).

Option 4. To set the the third suggested tip percentage, complete the following steps:

• • • Press 4 (TipGuide3).
    • Using the keypad, type the suggested tip percentage, then press Enter (green button).
