How does my Genius V400m work?

Note: Your V400m does not share any sensitive cardholder data with your POS.

Your POS sends information about the transaction to your V400m, such as the price and number of items.
Your V400m displays the information to your customer.
Your customer pays for their items using your V400m.
Your V400m securely sends the information about the completed transaction to your POS and to the Genius Customer Engagement Platform (CEP).
