If your gateway connection tests failed, follow the steps for your connection type:
Ethernet
- Check that your router or switch has a working internet connection.
- Check that you inserted the Ethernet cable into the Ether port. Don’t insert the cable into the RS232 port.
- Run the gateway connection tests again. If the tests fail, contact our Support Team.
Wi-Fi
- Check that your router or switch has a working internet connection.
- Run the gateway connection tests again. If the tests fail, contact our Support Team.
Bluetooth
- Check that your device is paired with the POS.
- Make sure that Bluetooth tethering is activated on the POS.
- Run the gateway connection tests again. If the tests fail, contact our Support Team.
USB
- Check that both ends of the USB cable are securely attached to the USB ports of your P400 and POS.
- Make sure that USB tethering is activated on the POS.
- Run the gateway connection tests again. If the tests fail, contact our Support Team.
