The device\u2019s base connects to the internet using one of the following connection methods:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>An Ethernet connection<\/strong> &#8211; The base connects to the internet using an Ethernet cable.<\/li>\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<li><strong>A Dial-up connection<\/strong> &#8211; The base connects to the internet using a telephone line.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/p>\n<div class=\"notice notice-danger\"><strong>Important:<\/strong><\/strong> When you remove the sensitive information from the device, you will not be able to run transactions.<\/div>\n<h3>Selecting your connection method<\/h3>\n<p><Strong>Step 1.<\/strong> From the home screen, use the keypad to press <strong>F<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><Strong>Step 2.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type the password, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>. The default password is <strong>1234562F<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><Strong>Step 3.<\/strong> Press <strong>0<\/strong> (Telium Manager).<\/p>\n<p><Strong>Step 4.<\/strong> Press <strong>3<\/strong> (Initialization).<\/p>\n<p><Strong>Step 5.<\/strong> Press <strong>1<\/strong> (Parameters).<\/p>\n<p><Strong>Step 6.<\/strong> Press the <strong>Scroll up<\/strong> button, and then select T.M.S.<\/p>\n<p><Strong>Step 7.<\/strong> Select which connection method your device\u2019s base uses:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;a. Press the <strong>Scroll up<\/strong> button to find your connection method:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;i. <strong>IP\/Eth<\/strong> &#8211; for an Ethernet connection<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ii. <strong>Modem<\/strong> &#8211; for a dial-up connection<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;b. Press <strong>Enter<\/strong> to select your connection method.<\/p>\n<h4>Removing sensitive information using an Ethernet connection<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Step 1.<\/strong> Press <strong>Enter<\/strong> to select Yes, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong> to select TADU_SSL.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2.<\/strong> Press <strong>Enter<\/strong> to select Domain Name.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type the Domain Name, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>. The Domain Name is <strong>DOWNLOAD.TSYSACQUIRING.NET<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type the Port number, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>. The Port number is <strong>39600<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type <strong>61027240<\/strong>, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6.<\/strong> Press <strong>Enter<\/strong>, and then press <strong>Cancel<\/strong> twice. The device returns to the home screen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 7.<\/strong> Press <strong>F<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 8.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type the password, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>. The default password is <strong>1234562F<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 9.<\/strong> Press <strong>0<\/strong> (Telium Manager), and then press <strong>2<\/strong> (Evolution).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 10.<\/strong> Press <strong>2<\/strong> (Remote Load), and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>Removing sensitive information using a Dial-up connection<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Step 1.<\/strong> Press the <strong>Scroll up<\/strong> button, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong> to select PSTN.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2.<\/strong> If your device prompts you to type the access code before you type the phone number, use the keypad to type <strong>18442497001<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type <strong>61027240<\/strong>, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type the Port number, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>. The Port number is <strong>39600<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5.<\/strong> Use the keypad to type <strong>61027240<\/strong>, and then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6.<\/strong> Press <strong>Enter<\/strong> to select Off, and then press <strong>Cancel<\/strong> twice.
