You can compare the cardholder\u2019s signature with the signature on the back of the card.<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>If the PIN or signature don\u2019t match, the EMV terminal cancels the transaction as the card may be stolen or fraudulent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Train your staff to identify suspicious activity including the following:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>A cardholder trying to distract an employee or rush a transaction<\/li>\n<li>A transaction with an unusually high dollar value<\/li>\n<li>A cardholder that can\u2019t verify their identity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The actions you can take to help prevent fraudulent transactions depend on whether you sell goods online or sell goods in-store.
