If the transaction is in a closed batch, you need to<a href=\"hardware\/how-do-i-refund-a-transaction-on-my-vx520\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0perform a refund<\/a>.<\/div>\n<p>To void a transaction, complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1<\/strong>. From the <a href=\"hardware\/how-do-i-access-the-softpay-home-screen-on-my-vx520-to-start-processing-transactions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SoftPay home screen<\/a>, press <strong>F4<\/strong> (Void).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong>. Select the transaction you want to void.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 1<\/strong>. To void the last transaction, complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>a. To confirm that you want to void the last transaction, press <strong>F1<\/strong> (Yes).<\/p>\n<p>b. To confirm your choice, press <strong>F1<\/strong> (Yes).<\/p>\n<p>c. To reprint the customer receipt from the transaction, press <strong>F1<\/strong> (Yes).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 2<\/strong>. To void a different transaction, complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>a. To confirm that you do not want to void the last transaction, press <strong>F2<\/strong> (No).<\/p>\n<p>b. Select how you want to retrieve the transaction:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; To search by invoice number, press <strong>F1<\/strong> (Inv#).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; To search by the last four digits of the card number, press <strong>F2<\/strong> (Acct#).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;i. Use the keypad to type the search information, then press <strong>Enter<\/strong>.<\/br><br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;ii. To select the current transaction, press <strong>F1<\/strong> (Yes).<\/br><br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;iii. To move to the next transaction, press <strong>F3<\/strong> (Next).<\/br><br \/>\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;iv.
