Run a gateway connection test by completing the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>a. From the home screen, use the keypad to press <strong>000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>b. Use the keypad to type the password and then tap <strong>OK<\/strong>. The default password is <strong>9416557<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>c. Tap <strong>Options<\/strong> and then tap <strong>Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>d. Tap <strong>Options<\/strong> and then tap <strong>Connection Test<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>e. Confirm all tests have passed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If all the tests have passed and your Semi-Integrated M400 is still not functioning correctly, contact our <a href=\"managing-my-account\/contact-us\/#Genius\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Support Team<\/a>.<br \/>\n&#8211; If your Semi-Integrated M400 is connected to the internet but your Semi-Integrated M400 is still not functioning correctly, continue to step 2.<\/p>\n<p>2. Check your Semi-Integrated M400 is connected to your router and that you have a live internet connection.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If your Semi-Integrated M400 is connected to the internet but your Semi-Integrated M400 is still not functioning correctly, continue to step 3.<\/p>\n<p>3. Confirm all necessary ports and hosts are open and available by completing the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>a. Check with your system administrator that the following ports are open:<\/p>\n<p>i. 443: SSL<\/p>\n<p>ii. 8443: HTTPS<\/p>\n<p>iii. 8080: HTTP<\/p>\n<p>b. Check with your system administrator that the following hosts are available:<\/p>\n<p>i. genius.merchantware.net<\/p>\n<p>ii. transport.merchantware.net<\/p>\n<p>iii. logupload.merchantware.net<\/p>\n<p>iv. ps1.merchantware.net<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If any of the ports are not open, ask your system administrator to open the necessary port.<br \/>\n&#8211; If any of the hosts are not available, ask your system administrator to add the necessary host address to your hosts file.<br \/>\n&#8211; If the ports and hosts are open and available, continue to step 4.<\/p>\n<p>4. Restart your Semi-Integrated M400 by completing the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>a. Remove the 12V power cable from your Semi-Integrated M400 for at least 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>b. Plug the 12V power cable back into your =Semi-Integrated M400.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If your Semi-Integrated M400 still does not connect to the network, continue to step 5.<\/p>\n<p>5. Check that your Semi-Integrated M400 has an IP address by completing the following steps:<\/p>\n<p>a. From the home screen, use the keypad to press <strong>000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>b. Use the keypad to type the password and then tap <strong>OK<\/strong>. The default password is <strong>9416557<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>c. Check that there is an IP address in <strong>IP address<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If there is no IP address in <strong>IP address<\/strong>, you can set a <a href=\"how-do-i-set-a-static-ip-address-on-my-genius-m400\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">static IP address<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; If there is an IP address in <strong>IP address<\/strong> but your Semi-Integrated M400 is still not functioning correctly, continue to step 6.<\/p>\n<p>6.
