Step 1: Attach the utility cable<\/h2>\n
1. Turn your Semi-Integrated P400 upside down and place it on a flat, stable surface.<\/p>\n
2. Remove the rear cover by sliding it up and lifting it off.<\/p>\n

3. Attach the utility cable to your device. Push the connector straight down so that you don\u2019t bend the pins.<\/p>\n

4. Slide the rear cover back onto your device until it clicks.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Attach the power adapter<\/h2>\nImportant<\/strong>: Do not attach a Power over Ethernet (POE) cable to your P400. Attaching a POE cable to your P400 can damage the connection ports.<\/div>\n1. Insert the 12V DC power adapter into the power port on the utility cable.<\/p>\n
2. Plug the 12V DC power adapter into a power socket. Your device will turn on.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Connect your device to your network<\/h2>\n
You can connect your P400 to your network using the following connection types:<\/span><\/p>\n\n- Ethernet<\/a><\/li>\n
- Wi-Fi<\/a><\/li>\n
- USB<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nNote:<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n- Your device is configured to receive a dynamic IP address by default. If you need to configure a static IP address, go to How do I configure a static IP address on my Semi-Integrated P400?<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n
- If you see \u201cPower Interface?\u201d on-screen, tap Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

1. Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into an available port on your router or switch.<\/p>\n
