You need to know the payment card&#8217;s CVV if you want to use it when running a manual sale.<br \/>\n\u2022 Depending on your Payments Portal account, some options may not be available.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>To run a manual sale with a saved payment card:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Option 1<\/strong>. Complete the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>On the toolbar, click <strong>Recurring Billing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the customer&#8217;s record to open the detailed view.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Sale<\/strong> for the card you want to use.\n<div class=\"support-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-dib\" style=\"width: truepx\" src=\"https:\/\/pages.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/helpcenter2020\/1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/05\/Payments-Portal_Manual-Sale-Saved-Cards.png\" alt=\"An example of a customer's record with the Sale button highlighted.\"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enter the Card Information:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Use the month and year drop-down menus to select the <strong>Expiration Date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Type the <strong>CVV<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) If your customer is using a commercial card, click the <strong>Commercial Card<\/strong> check box to display the <strong>Purchase Order&nbsp;<\/strong>field.\n<div class=\"support-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-dib\" style=\"width: 70%;height: 70%\" src=\"https:\/\/pages.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/helpcenter2020\/1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/05\/Payments-Portal_PurchaseOrderCommercialCard.png\" alt=\"The Card Information screen with the Purchase Order field highlighted. \"><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) Type the <strong>Name on Card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Type the <strong>Street Address<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Type the <strong>Postal Code<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>If your customer is using a commercial card, type the <strong>Purchase Order<\/strong> reference.<\/li>\n<li>Type the Order Information:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>(Optional) <strong>Customer ID<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Invoice Number<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Subtotal Amount<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tax Amount<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) <strong>Tip Amount<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) <strong>Convenience Fee<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Click <strong>Submit Payment<\/strong>. The Payments Portal displays either a decline, or an approval screen:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Decline &#8211; Payments Portal may display a reason such as &#8220;Decline; Invalid CVV.&#8221; You can retry the card or ask your customer to use a different payment method.<\/li>\n<li>Approval &#8211; The approval screen includes a summary of the transaction.
