If you update the web browser on your POS, you must install the certificate again.<\/div>\n<p>To install the root certificate, follow the instructions for the operating system and browser that you are using for your POS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Windows<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#1\">Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome\u2122<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#2\">Firefox<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Mac OS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#3\">Safari or Google Chrome<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#4\">Firefox<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Windows<\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"1\">Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome<\/h3>\n<p>1. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/crt\/G2\/prod_ca.crt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/crt\/G2\/prod_ca.crt<\/a> and download the certificate.<br \/>\n2. Open the certificate.<\/p>\n<h4>Using Microsoft Edge<\/h4>\n<p>On the <strong>Downloads<\/strong> section in the top-right of the window, click <strong>Open file<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1159\" src=\"https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/10\/Edge-Download-Section.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"181\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Using Google Chrome<\/h4>\n<p>On the download bar at the bottom of the window, click <strong>prod_ca.crt<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1161\" src=\"https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/10\/Chrome-Download-bar.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"523\" height=\"57\" \/><br \/>\n3. On the General tab, click <strong>Install Certificate<\/strong>.<br \/>\n4. On the Certificate Import Wizard screen, select <strong>Local Machine<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<br \/>\n5. On the Certificate Store screen, select <strong>Place all certificates in the following store<\/strong>.<br \/>\n6. Click <strong>Browse<\/strong>, and then select <strong>Trusted Root Certification Authorities<\/strong>.<br \/>\n7. Click <strong>OK<\/strong>, and then click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<br \/>\n8. Click <strong>Finish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"2\">Firefox<\/h3>\n<p>1. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/crt\/G2\/prod_ca.crt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/crt\/G2\/prod_ca.crt<\/a> and download the certificate.<br \/>\n2. Click <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/10\/Firefox-options-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"24\" height=\"20\" \/>, and then select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<br \/>\n3. In the search box, type <strong>certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1160\" src=\"https:\/\/help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com\/1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2021\/10\/Firefox-Certificate.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1098\" height=\"350\" \/><br \/>\n4. Click <strong>View Certificates\u2026<\/strong><br \/>\n5. Click <strong>Import\u2026<\/strong><br \/>\n6. Navigate to the folder where you saved the certificate, and then select the certificate.<br \/>\n7. Select the <strong>Trust this CA to identify websites<\/strong> checkbox, and then click <strong>OK<\/strong>.<br \/>\n8. To save the changes, restart Firefox.<\/p>\n<h2>Mac OS<\/h2>\n<h3>Safari<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1. Open <\/span><b>Spotlight Search<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (command + spacebar).<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">3. Search for Keychain Access. In <\/span><b style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial\">Finder<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, find, click on and drag <\/span><b style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial\">prod_ca.crt<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to the Certificates tab in the<\/span><b style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial\"> Keychain Access App<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">7. Enter in your Apple password.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">8. Double click the certificate, and select <\/span><b style=\"color: initial\">Trust<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">9. Close <\/span><b>Genius PROD CED Root CA<\/b>, and then e<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">nter your Apple password.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: initial\">11.\u00a0 Close the Keychain Access screen, and then enter your Apple password.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"4\">Firefox<\/h3>\n<p>1.
