An email inviting you to <strong>Activate your TSYS Online Virtual Terminal<\/strong> is sent to your email address.<\/p>\n<h4>Other users<\/h4>\n<p>When you create user credentials for your employees, the Payments Portal automatically sends an email to their email address inviting them to activate their user accounts.<\/p>\n<h3>Activating your Payments Portal user account<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the <strong>TSYS Account Activation<\/strong> email.\n<div class=\"notice\"><strong>Note:&nbsp;<\/strong>TSYS Account Activation emails are sent from no-reply@accessaccountdetails.com.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Activate your TSYS Online Virtual Terminal<\/strong> link.<\/li>\n<li>Read the Terms of Use Agreement, then click <strong>Accept Agreement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>New Password<\/strong> field, enter your chosen password.<\/li>\n<div class=\"notice\"><strong>Note:&nbsp;<\/strong>Your password must contain between 8 and 20 characters, including at least one number, a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters, and it must not match your user name. You are prompted to change your password every 90 days, you cannot use a password more than once.<\/div>\n<li>In the <strong>Confirm Password<\/strong> field, re-enter your chosen password.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Activate Account<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To <a href=\"payments-portal\/how-do-i-sign-into-the-payments-portal\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sign into the Payments Portal<\/a>, click the <strong>Proceed to the Sign-In Page link<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Types of Payments Portal security role<\/h3>\n<p>You can assign one of four different security roles to Payments Portal user accounts. These roles determine what actions and features are available to the user. The following roles are available:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Administrative User:<\/strong> Can perform all functions as well as create and manage other users. The administrative user is typically used by the business owner\/manager.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Power User:<\/strong> Can perform card sales, pre-authorizations, voids, refunds, and they also view reports. The power user is typically used by sales supervisors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Terminal User:<\/strong> Can perform card sales, pre-authorizations, and view reports.
