How do I configure a dynamic IP address on my e285?

Who do I contact if my device is not running offline transactions?

Contact your POS integrator if you are having issues running offline transactions.

How do I know when the battery level is low on my e285?

When the battery level is low on your e285, it stops supporting contactless payments. The device indicates this on the Payment Selection screen.

Important: Charge your e285 within 30 minutes of contactless payments failing to prevent your device from shutting down.

Important: If your POS is not functioning correctly or is not communicating with your Genius device, contact your POS provider for technical support. Complete the steps in this article to work out if your POS error is related to your Genius device.

What is the “Storage Status” on my e285 device?

We regularly monitor the Storage Status on your Genius e285 to make sure it has enough storage to download and install updates. We maintain the storage by removing files that your device no longer needs.
