Important: You must install the root certificate using the same computer and web browser that you use for your POS. If the web browser for your POS updates, you must install the certificate again.
Installing the root certificate using Firefox
- Go to https://help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com/crt/G2/prod_ca.crt.
- Select Trust this CA to identify websites.
- Select OK.
Installing the root certificate using Microsoft Edge
- Go to https://help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com/crt/G2/prod_ca.crt.
- Select Open.
- On the General tab, select Install Certificate.
- On the Certificate Import Wizard screen, select Local Machine and then select Next.
- On the Certificate Store screen, select Place all certificates in the following store.
- Select Browse and then select Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
- Select OK and then select Next.
- Select Finish.
Installing the root certificate using Chrome™
- Go to https://help.globalpaymentsintegrated.com/crt/G2/prod_ca.crt.
- On the bottom-left of the browser, select on the file and select Open.
- On the General tab, select Install Certificate.
- On the Certificate Import Wizard screen, select Local Machine and then select Next.
- On the Certificate Store screen, select Place all certificates in the following store.
- Select Browse and then select Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
- Select OK and then select Next.
- On the Completing the Certificate Import Wizard screen, select Finish.
